When people work together the individuals within the group have a variable effect upon the group as a whole. By observing the group performing tasks or exercises unrelated to their normal environment or skill base it is possible to see certain traits emerging in individual members. Strong leaders often cannot help but take a dominant role in the decision making processes and practical applications, but it is how they involve the other team members that makes them good leaders. |
